I'm 33 for a moment...

It's birthday time here at SumSumSummertime. Kind of a quiet one really, no parties planned, but that's ok. Tonight we're heading out with some friends to the first night of the Greek Folk Festival, where all the Greek food is still homemade in the kitchens of the Greek families. It's pretty awesome, my favorite Baltimore festival. I expect lamb, dolmathes, loukamathes, baklava, and lots of dancing in circles.

Tomorrow morning we're heading out to Charlottesville for a little weekend away, our first trip this year that does not involve anybody else's life events. It's been a busy wedding year, and it takes two (possibly more) hands to count the number of pregnant women I know! A good year for love, it seems. Yep, definitely in my mid-30s.

In the garden the tomatoes are growing, the cucumbers are vining up the trellis, the eggplants are flowering, the sunflowers are getting taller... it's going to be a great summer!
